Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator works with the Executive Director and other staff to help implement programming and related administrative tasks throughout the year. Responsibilities include research and data compilation; correspondence with program participants; outreach to partner-organizations; managing marketing and social media campaigns; maintaining the organization’s directory; supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization; and other administrative tasks as assigned. Candidate must be highly organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented, compassionate, kind, willing to grow with the organization, care deeply about the marginalized communities Anaphora serves, and must have lived experience that foster empathy for marginalized communities. Familiarity with the local artist community is required; candidate must be independent, self-starter, and have an impeccable work ethic. This is a full-time position located in our newest art center in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). The candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings (whenever programming occurs).

Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant works with the Executive Director and other staff primarily to implement multi-faceted marketing strategies for our art center in Addis Ababa. The Marketing Assistant will also be in consultation with the Executive Director to plan marketing campaigns for the organization, and execute them across all internal and external outlets, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, in-person events, Anaphora’s extensive network, and more. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented, compassionate, kind, willing to grow with the organization, care deeply about the marginalized communities Anaphora serves, and must have lived experience that foster empathy for marginalized communities. Familiarity with the local arts community is required; candidate must be independent, self-starter, and have an impeccable work ethic. This is a full-time position located in our art center in Addis Ababa; the candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends (only when programming occurs).
